The 107 Twitter Personalities
Written with GPT-3 by Mario Klingemann
The Rambler
The ramblers are those who have an answer for everything and avoid confrontation at all costs. This personality type masquerades as a perfect example of every possible tweet. They have completely checked in to life as a Twitter user.
The Activist
This is the type of personality that is most likely to spend a lot of time on Twitter, because they believe every second spent not talking about an issue of social importance is a wasted moment. They are hard to follow because they are likely to be highly opinionated and argumentative. “The Activist” is also the person who you will follow because you agree with what they are saying and would be willing to retweet them. The best way to know “The Activist” is by the amount of RT’s (retweets) they receive and how many people follow them.
The Critic
As the name suggests, “The Critic” is a person that criticizes, if not everyone, at least one person daily. At times, they actually come across as someone who is unhappy all the time, and they will take issue with almost any subject being tweeted about.
The Cheerer
This personality type believes that one’s presence on Twitter is an unspoken obligation to cheer people up. They will make posts that are upbeat, happy and positive. They will not be insulting to anyone, and will never engage in a debate. This personality type knows the value of “like” buttons, and believes in emotional compliments and Twitter accolades.
The Salesman
“The Salesman” is the best of the five styles of the mentor. This personality type is likely to be a friend, as well as a one stop shop for Twitter advice.
The Blamer
These Twitter users are more impersonal operators. The person often typing the message does not know those to whom the message is actually sent but chooses to follow them anyway. “The blamer” personality type is not necessarily a negative thing. The blame carries some blame, but it is at least personalized, and the Twitter scold will usually respond quickly to any contact or signal when a person decides to take part in a conversation.
The Boomer
The most popular personality type of all on Twitter, the boomer is a leader, seeks out controversies and enjoys speaking on behalf of those whose voices are not being heard. This personality type is not quite easy to follow and tends to be a little scattered. He doesn’t respond to questions, let alone offer answers. The boomer tends to focus on the young and generally appears as an expert in every field he touches. There is a tremendous amount of information about him because he is an excellent follow for anyone who wants to hear his opinion on a wide array of topics.
The Scolder
These Twitter users might want to add a warning label to their tweet stream: “Warning: reading this account can be hazardous to your health!” The health aspect is more than slightly tongue-in-cheek, of course. These social media users are typically catty, have high anxiety and tend to have deep insecurities with no desire to seek counseling or therapy. Instead they spend a lot of time taking Twitter as an outlet for self-expression.
The Internet Son/Daughter
The Internet Son/Daughter personality type is a fast-paced, very right- or left-wing individual who tends to stick to breaking news and the latest sensation. They are the wittiest of all personality types, and the closest to “the boomer”. The Internet Son/Daughter spends about one hour a day on Twitter and happens to be a multiple personality when it comes to the social media site. They are the most likely personality type to take on the role of social media follower when they wish to access information as an aggregator. The snob tends to follow few Twitterers but does not really care about what they have to say. They have chosen to become followers and not pursue the role of leaders on social media.
The Spammer
This personality type is considered to be the rarest among them. You will be able to spot this personality by the fact that their Twitter stream is not “About Me.” The content is usually about a program, a service or an advertisement. The spammers are somewhat popular but tend not to respond to questions or rise to the defense of other Twitter users.
The Spy
“The Spy” is someone who will never answer any follow-up questions and is best known for being found on Twitter every Sunday night.

“The dealer” personality type is always attentive to a potential deal to be made. Individuals gather followers when they have powerful friends and, of course, an extensive network of their own. There is a karmic quality to “the dealer” personality type in that those operating as dealers will eventually receive reciprocal services. Dealers keep their eyes on the details and rarely make a mistake.

“The Mad Monarchist” is the sort of individual who will never give up power and really believes they are the personal historian of every cause, organization or issue. The intent of this personality type is to inform others about the knowledge and insight the poster has learned in their daily existence. Though this might sound positive, in practice it has a darker side to it. The Mad Monarchist tends to be focused on one agenda and can irritate people with that single-mindedness.
The Rebel
“The rebel” personality type is hard to pin down, as he refuses to have his work categorized. He is generally discovered on Twitter because someone else has called him a “Twitter Rebel.” You can spot the rebel by the way he interacts with many users but avoids a few in particular.
